0 of 7 Missions Complete

Congratulations! You've shared your story. Now it's time to start conversations with the people you already know.

One of the fastest ways to build your AmeriPlan business is by reaching out to the people who already know, like, and trust you.

Right now, you might be thinking...

"I don't want to bother anyone."

That's completely normal. Almost everyone feels that way when they're getting started.

But remember...

You're not trying to convince people to buy something. You're simply sharing something that could genuinely help them.

🤔 Think About It

If you found a great restaurant, an honest mechanic, or a way to help someone save hundreds of dollars each year, you'd probably tell the people you care about.

This is no different.

Your job isn't to sell. Your job is simply to start conversations.

For some people, that may mean saving money on everyday healthcare. For others, it could be an opportunity to earn extra income, build recurring income, or create more flexibility in their lives.

📝 Build Your Contact List +

Before reaching out to anyone, build your list.

Grab a sheet of paper—not your phone.

Why? Because writing names on paper helps you think differently. You'll remember people you may have forgotten if you're scrolling through your contacts.

Don't overthink it. Just start writing. Write down everyone you know:

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Neighbors
  • Coworkers (past and present)
  • Church friends
  • Parents from school or sports
  • Business owners
  • Facebook friends
  • Instagram followers
  • Former classmates
  • People you've met through hobbies or volunteer work

Don't organize the list. Don't judge the names. Just keep writing.

🎯 Your Goal

Challenge yourself to write down at least 100 names.

Most people think they only know 20 or 30 people. Once you begin thinking about different seasons of your life, you'll probably remember many more people than you expected.

If you don't reach 100 today, that's okay. Keep adding names over the next few days as people come to mind.

⭐ Success Tip

Every successful AmeriPlan business starts with a list. Every name represents a relationship. Every relationship is an opportunity to help someone.

❤️ Think About Helping +

Now go back through your list.

Instead of asking... "Who will join?"

Ask yourself... "Who came to mind because this could genuinely help them?"

For each person, think about why they came to mind.

💰 Healthcare Savings

Some people may benefit from the membership because they:

  • Need dental work
  • Wear glasses or contacts
  • Take prescription medications
  • Recently lost healthcare benefits
  • Are self-employed
  • Own a small business
  • Have mentioned rising healthcare costs
  • Have a family to care for

💼 Business Opportunity

Others may appreciate learning about the business because they:

  • Want additional income
  • Would like more flexibility
  • Have talked about working from home
  • Want another stream of income
  • Are paying off debt
  • Are planning for retirement
  • Enjoy helping people
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset

Don't prejudge. Don't assume. Don't decide for people.

Simply think about who might appreciate learning more.

⭐ Success Tip

Every name on your list represents a person—not a prospect. People first. Always.

💬 Reach Out +

The best conversations are personal.

Don't copy and paste the same message to everyone. Tell people why they came to mind. Keep it simple. Keep it personal. Keep it genuine.

Example: Healthcare Savings

Personal Message
Hi Sarah! I hope you've been doing well! I thought of you because I remember you mentioning that you needed some dental work. I recently started working with AmeriPlan, and it's introduced me to some affordable healthcare savings options that I thought might be helpful. I don't know if it's something you'd be interested in, but if you'd like more information, I'd be happy to share it with you.

Example: Business Opportunity

Personal Message
Hi Jessica! I hope you're doing well! I recently started working with AmeriPlan, and one of the things I like most is that it gives me an opportunity to earn additional income while helping families save on healthcare. You came to mind because you're one of the hardest-working people I know, and I thought you might appreciate learning more about it. If you'd ever like to hear more about what I'm doing, I'd be happy to share.
⭐ Success Tip

Your goal isn't to explain everything in your first message. Your goal is simply to start a conversation.

📞 Following Up +

Not everyone will reply right away. People get busy. They forget. Life happens.

Following up isn't bothering people. It's simply continuing a conversation.

Example Follow-Up

Follow-up Message
Hi Sarah! Just wanted to make sure you saw my message from earlier this week. No rush at all—I just wanted to check in because I thought this might be something you'd appreciate. If you'd like the information, I'd be happy to send it over. 😊
⭐ Success Tip

Many conversations begin with one simple follow-up. Sometimes people aren't saying "no." They simply haven't had time to respond yet.

❤️ Some People Will Say No +

Even after you've followed up, some people won't be interested. That's completely normal.

Some people are happy with what they already have. Some aren't looking for additional income. Some simply aren't ready—and that's okay.

Don't take it personally. You're not looking for everyone. You're looking for the people who genuinely want your help.

Thank them for their time. Leave the conversation on a positive note. You never know what may change in the future.

Today's "no" could become tomorrow's "Tell me more."

Continue building relationships. Continue serving people. The goal isn't to convince people. The goal is to be someone they remember when the need arises.

⭐ Success Tip

Don't measure success by enrollments. Measure success by the conversations you start, the relationships you build, and the people you help.

✅ Today's Challenge

Before moving to the next lesson:

❤️ Final Thought

Every successful AmeriPlan business begins with one conversation.

One conversation becomes one relationship. One relationship becomes another opportunity to help someone.

You don't need to have all the answers. You don't need to be an expert. You simply need to care about people, listen to their needs, and be willing to share something that could genuinely make a difference.

Keep showing up. Keep serving people. Keep believing in what you're building.

The results will follow.
